This is a render of the serotonin molecule. Making this render was part of answering how we can portray microscopic particles efficiently and realistically at the same time? While my interpretation of the molecule leans towards stylisation and deviates perhaps too much from the original data, the bubbles capture a photogenic composition that is worthwhile being enticed by.
